Crowdinvesting and Civic Crowdfunding for a better public infrastructure
While Crowdfunding is fairly established for the creative industries, the amounts are small compared to overall turnaround in the creative industries.
Crowdfunding is most successful when based on small, very clear-cut projects, however institutional crowdfunding remains difficult.
The conference will discuss the legal and cultural challenges to make crowdfunding work for public infrastructure: bridges, buildings, theaters, museums, libraries, tv-stations, broadband-networks, schools, universities.
